Why do commercial induction cookers use microcrystalline glass

Microcrystalline glass is also known as microcrystalline jade or ceramic glass. Mainly used in induction cookers, high-power induction cookers, commercial induction cookers and other products. It is a composite glass, whose scientific name is glass ceramics. A specific combination of glass with a nucleating agent is crystallized under controlled conditions (at a certain temperature) to form a composite material with a uniform distribution of microcrystalline and glass phases. The editor of Midea's induction cooker said that microcrystalline glass and our common glass look very different. It has the dual characteristics of glass and ceramics. The atomic arrangement inside ordinary glass is irregular, which is one of the reasons why glass is fragile. Like ceramics, glass-ceramics are composed of crystals, which means that their atomic arrangement is regular. Therefore, microcrystalline glass has higher brightness and stronger toughness than ceramics. The main reasons for using microcrystalline glass for commercial induction cooker panels are: high mechanical strength, excellent insulation performance, low dielectric loss, stable dielectric constant, adjustable coefficient of thermal expansion in a wide range, chemical resistance, wear resistance, good thermal stability, and high service temperature. Planar glass-ceramics are currently widely used in household induction cookers. Concave glass-ceramics refer to glass-ceramics with a concave shape, similar to the current situation of pots. The main use of the microcrystalline glass plate is currently mainly for high-power commercial induction cookers. With the rise in gas and prices, the cost of the catering industry has soared, and people's understanding of cooking without open flames has led to an increase in the number of commercial induction cookers. The demand for concave glass ceramics will also increase accordingly. The conventional dimensions of planar microcrystalline glass plates commonly used in commercial induction cookers with a thickness of 12 to 20mm are 250, 250, 300, 300, 350, 350, 450, 450, 500, 500, and 600 mm. The conventional dimensions of concave microcrystalline glass used in commercial induction cookers are: 200mm in diameter, 300mm in diameter, 400mm in diameter, 500mm in diameter, etc.
